First on the fox – Legal group closely in line with the president Donald Trump The Battle of the Federal Court in Washington is joined, DC, to cancel the Carter’s Posted Regulation, which forbids the Government to use employment based on merit, a resolution that, if reset, would dissolve one of the most influential decisions on the civil service in the last 40 years.
The US First Legal Foundation (AFL), a group aligned with Trump, filed a federal appeal in Washington, DC, which aims to dismantle what he calls dated and illegal efforts promote diversity in federal employment on the side of qualified candidates.
“America is missing top talent because of the illegal, 44-year consent regulation,” said Nick Barry, an older counselor at AFL, for Fox News Digital. “We have to go back to merit assessments. Rasa and other immutable qualities have no place in the process.”

The lawsuit on the Decree on the consent of Luevano, an agreement by which the Black and Latin -American prosecutors reached the Government under President Jimmy Carter in 1981. The settlement ended the practice of employment based on the merit for the Federal Government Agency and demanded that written tests be replaced by alternative estimates.
Critics of these alternative estimates, including AFL and Boyden Gray, PLLC, who joined the complaints, claim that these are clumsy and outdated solutions that illegally promote an unjust system of employment based on race.
“We have to go back to merit estimates,” Barry added. “Rasa, color and other immutable characteristics have no place in that assessment.”
The staff management office has previously asked the court to end the Carter system, the effort that is now joined by AFL and Boyden Gray, claiming that it is violated Supreme Court precedent.

“The possibility of hiring the best and brightest work in Washington returns dividends for the country, working more with less,” AFL Vice President Dan Epstein for Fox News Digital. “This is what all Americans deserve from their government.”
AFL’s support could bring new momentum to attempt OPM to end these employment practices in the Federal Government. But it is probably that it will also encounter a considerable degree of criticism.
Although the efforts to end or replace the 40-year alternative assessment systems are not very radical, applying for the application is because Trump administration continues to clash with government employees due to a decrease in budget and decrease in labor.

The effort comes to the time when many federal agencies struggled with great loss of staff and institutional knowledge due to the reduction of funds and other DOGE orders, the quasi of the Government, led by the billionaire Elon male.
Still, AFL sees his efforts to support the OPM and the end of what he claims, is almost a “impossible” standard for creating a widely used exam for the state service based on merit.
“The public service is public confidence,” Epstein said. “The presidential administration of both sides have long been advocated by the ending of uncultivating bureaucracy that fails to turn good to the American people.”
Neither the OPM nor the White House immediately responded to the Fox News request for comment on the new submission of court regulations or their views on existing employment practices.
