University of Minnesota (UMN) offers to pay parents of transgender and “gender-nonconforming” children to have their children play with non-conventional dolls, complete with genitalia and genitalia.
“We want to hear from transgender and gender nonconforming children ages 5 to 10 and their parents about a new hands-on activity to help us talk about gender and bodies,” National Center for Gender Spectrum Health (NCGSH) at UMN she wrote on Instagram earlier this year.
“Children and parents will meet several times in groups with others to play and give us ideas for activities,” they added.
UMN noted that it will pay between $20 and $60 per group for the study.

Further information on the acceptance trial revealed that families will be asked for feedback on a new therapeutic tool called MyGender Dolls.
MyGender dolls consist of bodies that vary in age, shape and skin color “so that all children can see themselves represented and interact as they see themselves. With over 100 different clothing, accessory and hair options, children will have plenty to choose from -expression through this tool”, according to UMN website.
Created by transgender and gender-nonconforming artists, MyGender Dolls are sets of two-dimensional dolls with accompanying internal genitalia and external genitalia.

The dolls are intended for use by a “gender competent therapist” working with young children and adolescents for “gender research” purposes.
NCGSH at UMN held a double match fundraiser for MyGender dolls. It says that every dollar donated will raise two program members at the Human Sexuality Leadership Council.
It is unclear whether any families signed up for the research project. UMN did not return Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
