Numerous Tumwater high school girls in Tumwater protested during a school hour with a large inscription where they read: “This is not a walk (sic). We’re not going anywhere.”
Other signs read “XX”, “Enlightenment Sports” and other similar messages.
Washington Interscholastic ACTIVATS Association (Wiaa) issued the following Fox News Digital statement: “Wiaa is still proud to represent 225,000+ student participants throughout the country. The Association is aware of the protest of the Tumwater HS students.”
Timwater Girls finished third in the meeting. Reese Heryford finished 15th in Preliminary Running at 400 meters, not managing to be in the top eight to qualify for the finals.

“I’ll put this in the most PG-13 way. I’ll just say it’s a damn shame that they have nothing else to do. I hope they get life. But Oh well. It just shows who they are like people.”
