Spencer RASCOFF, CEO of Tinder Matter Company Group, promises to change the reputation of Tinder as an occasional merger application to a more serious introduction app.
“This generation Gen Z, 18 to 28 – This is not a generation of merging. They don’t drink so much alcohol, they don’t have that much sex,” Rascoff’s investor said, states Wall Street Journal. “We need to adjust our products to accept that reality.”
Unlike the millennium generation, which helped to popularize Tinder and shaped the domestic and international success app, it seems that Gen Z is less interested in purely casual experiences. Some commentators believe that gen z is a generation that is Tired of “ghosts”, which is defined as suddenly interrupting communication with another person without warning, and instead seeks more authentic experiences of going out.

Rascoff signaled that the genes of genes are key to the future success of Tinder as a company.
“Users don’t want to match anymore, they want better,” Rascoff wrote in a memorandum examined by Wall Street Journal.
Better matches, according to Rascooff, means that basically changes the way users communicate with Tinder.
“Imagine Tinder as a bar where people gather to meet new people,” Rascoff said. “We have to innovate to drive more people to our facility, which means the renovation of our bar.”
Rascoff was supposed to take on a major role in Tinder, on the shift of leadership that shows the attempts of the company to fulfill the variable trends for socializing for the younger generation of users.
