“It was not this Baptist Westboro, the hate of rhetoric. They were people who shared hope, an optimistic view of what it looks like when God begins to work in your life,” he told Ingraham.
In response to the mayor, Johnson on Tuesday helped organize an event at the City Hall of Seattle, which he said he had welcomed the “similar” opposition to protesters.
“Antifa was in force. They bleed and beat up good church people who stood in line to try to get into the set to sing the anthem and adore songs and pray for the direction of the city,” Johnson said.
Pastor noted that after the announcement on Tuesday, he was “overwhelmed” by the support of people outside of Christian and conservative circles who wanted to “stand with Christians at the City Hall because we believe in First amendment. “
