On Friday, the Supreme Court remained a lower court that blocked Trump’s administration to deport approximately 500,000 migrants from Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela. The decision is a short -term victory for the president Donald Trump As it moves to break up border safety and immigration priorities in its second term.
The Supreme Court’s decision remains, so far, lower court judgments that have stopped Trump’s plans for the abolition of temporary protected status (TPS) for some migrants living in the United States, which allows individuals to live and work in the United States if they cannot work safely in their home country because of the disaster, armed conflict or other “extraordinary and temporary conditions.”
Justices Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanja Brown Jackson did not separate.

General lawyer USA John Sauer has asked Justices earlier this month to allow the administration to continue with his decision to revoke the status of a migrant, accusing US District Judge Edward Chen of incorrectly in the powers of the executive power in relation to immigration policy.
“The explanation of the District Court is unsustainable,” Sauer told the High Court, adding that the program “involves special discretionary, sensitive and foreign policy, the verdict of the executive authority regarding the politics of immigration.”
