The four -time champion Grand Slam Naomi Osaka had a rough first round in French open on Monday.
Osaka came in Roland Garros Wearing a complete set inspired by “sakura” or cherry flowers. She had problems almost immediately because she was forced to cut her nails in the middle of the match against 10. Paula Bados seeds. She had 54 unfettered mistakes.

She also expressed a sense of regret that she had failed her coach, Patrick Moratoglou, who had previously worked with Serena Williams.

Osaka also dealt with the bubbles on her hands as she trimmed her nails. She theorized that the clay courts gave her a problem.
“From Rome, I had bubbles on my hands,” she said, via tennis.com. “I think it’s from the friction friction because I have no bubbles on any other surface. But I was kind of used to it, because I also had to look for physioture in Rome.”
Osaka was the previous world no. 1 while dominated at the 2018 US Open and won the 2019 Australian Open in 2019. She did it again in 2020 when she won the US Open and wins the Australian Open 2021.
French Open and Wimbledon always had a problem with seclusion.
She never made it from the third round at the French Open.

Osaka did not bind to any of the grinding ways that leads to the grinding Wimbledon.

“I don’t necessarily know my schedule of the grass season,” Osaka said. “I didn’t really expect to lose in the first round.”
