Senator Ted CruzR-Texas, has outlined the legislation in which the 1972 International Bridge Act will be changed, which will speed up the presidential permit procedure for all international bridges and land ports.
The Bipartisan Procedure of the Cruz Law and Senator Ben Ray Lujan, dn.m., will be expanded to legislation previously written by Cruz and adopted in a law by which he simplified permits for international bridges in Eagle Pare, Lader and Brownsville.
The new account will simplify all permits for international bridges and ports Entry into Mexico and Canada.

In a statement, Cruz talked about how this new account was his main priority.
“This account is based and expanded our success in providing the presidential licenses for the four major international projects of the Bridge in the South Texas by simplifying the approval procedure for all future international bridges along Texas border –mexico,“Cruz said in a statement.
Cruz strongly invited his colleagues “to adopt this account so he could send to the president for signature.”

Lujan said in a statement that it was proud to introduce a two -party legislation that would provide real investments to the new Mexico.
“Luke for entry and international bridges are vital to the economic success of our border communities, supporting trade, business and tourism,” Lujan said. “Still, the new border crossings are too often held by the presidential permit.”
Dr. Victor Trevisto, the Mayor of the City of Ladro, thanked both of the senators for drawing up this two -party proposal for the laws that strengthen the northern and southern border.

“This proposal of the law indicates a critical step towards modernizing the development and expansion of cross-border infrastructure, bringing the much needed efficiency and predictability to the presidential permit-a bit of a community reform such as laredo, which is still on the front lines of international trade as a port of entries in the United States,” he said in the United States.
Trevino also called on Congress to make this bill President Donald Trump I can sign it.

The proposal of the law also includes a ban for future administrations of considering environmental documents, including documents created within the Law on National Environmental Protection Policy.
