Former Vice President Kamal Harris was angry about former President Biden who caught a Trump 2024 hat during the event in September 2024, who quickly became viral on social media at the time, according to the new book by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson.
“What is he doing?” According to the book, the former vice president asked his team in response to the video. “This is completely former. And so unnecessary.”

A video of Biden at the Shanksville Fire Station in Pennsylvania showed that the President took the Trump 2024 Campaign Catter from Trump’s fan and put it on top of his own hat, in what the White House said was a friendly gesture of unity at the time.
According to the book, “The original sin: the fall of President Biden, the cover -up and his catastrophic choice to restart,” was the last time Harris with Biden would make a public event before the election.

“But it wasn’t the last time Biden did something uniform,” the authors wrote.
The former president also called Trump supporters “garbage” during Call for Harris campaign.
“Donald Trump has no character. It’s not damn about Latin community,” Biden said. “Only the other day, the speaker at his gathering called Puerto Rico floating the island of garbage.
“The only garbage I see floating there are his supporters. His demonization of Latin is unconscious, which is non -American,” said the former president.

Harris tried to distance himself alone from remarks.
“I disagree with any criticism of people on the basis of whom they vote,” Harris said. “You’ve heard my speech last night and continuously during my career. I believe the job I do by presenting all people, whether supporting me or not, is.”
The book also revealed That the former president recorded several videos on the 2024 campaign, which they ultimately considered “unusable” because of his wrong steps.

In one case, the Biden team sought to shoot a video for ads on television at a high school gym where people could ask questions such as a meeting of the City Hall.
“The campaign was trying to make it look like the president was there and publicly took out questions about voters,” the book said. “But the event was closed to journalists, and the campaign had a complete list of questions that people would ask.”
However, Biden had so many “problems” to go through the questions that his team decided to abolish the recordings. While some have attributed the challenges to poor lighting in the gym, the book said that others identified bidets as a real problem.
