Tensions are flames during Saturday Ncaa baseball Game between Samford and Mercer.
Samford Outfielder Michael Gupton hit double Homer to increase the leadership of Bulldog over Mercer Bears. Gapton seemed to yell at the Mercer player during his humorous running around the bases.

Gupton’s words seemed to target at least one player on the baseball diamond, as did Mercer Dugout. Gapton eventually touched the home plate and celebrated with his Samford teammates.
Bradley Frye, a visibly frustrated Mercer, tried to follow Gupton and had to keep it. Mercer’s coaches also expressed their frustrations in the judges.

The Southern Conference Commissioner Michael Cross was present in the game and was eventually seen talking to the court.
Gupton and Frye were thrown out of the game after the video review. The coaches were also thrown out, and Samford Assistant Gil Walkes and coach Mercer Pitching Tanner Gordon received an ejection.
