In April, officials posted a recording of Bodycam showing chaotic moments that led to a deadly shooting in Fairfax, Virginia. In a press release that follows the footage, Fairfax County Police Directorate (FCPD) The incident called “an attempt to kill.”
On April 2, April, a police officer attracted 36-year-old Jamal Wali for too fast driving. Wali also had a security inspection sticker. When they attracted him, Wali slammed into the brakes, something that the officer who initially approached Wali’s vehicle noticed.
Wali then informed the officer that he was armed and asked why they were pulling him. From there, the situation started turning chaotic as the clearly upset Wali started yelling, cursing, refusing to give its name and say that there was no driver’s license or registration for a vehicle.

While the officer tried to make the situation, Wali launched complaints with Profania as he was treated in the country and said he came to the US after serving as a translator of the US forces in Afghanistan.
“I should have served SF — Ing Taliban,” Wali shouted at the officer.
Wali eventually took out the camera similar to GoPro and started shooting traffic stop. Police later got this recording and included it in a video by Bodycam posted public on Friday.
Two other FCPD officials came to help an officer who started stopping traffic and one stood on the driver’s side and the other on the passenger side. Wali eventually reached for his weapons and shot two officers on the driver’s side. According to FCPD chief Kevin Davis, one bullet went through the weapons of both officers before hitting a parked car across the street, breaking the back window.
Wali was shot and taken to the hospital, where he was later declared dead.

“It’s always unfortunate when life is lost. We are sorry Mr. Wali is no longer with us,” Davis said on a press conference announcing the recording edition. He confirmed that Wali was married to four children as he claimed during his tense interaction with the officer.
The boss said that “the impact on these children is unthinkable, and they will carry it with them for the rest of our lives, so we take it very seriously.”
Davis attributed the officer to the passenger side, saving the lives of other officers.

His actions, his deployment of that deadly force, saved the lives of two officers who were on that driver.
FCPD said ua a statement This officer Ian Lachapelle, who fired a gun, was placed on the status of a limited duty while the Incident Investigation continued.
