Sherri Pope was not easy.

In 2022, the Californian mother of two was sentenced to 18 months in prison for faking her own abduction so she could return to her ex -boyfriend. Her disappearance resulted in a three -week multipurpose search before appearing on Thanksgiving 2016.

“She really didn’t want to do any of these things, but I think she saw it as her shot to get her story out, and she’ll do everything she needs,” director Nicole Rittenmeyer told Fox News Digital.
