New Orleans police arrest another suspect for allegedly aiding jail escapees


Another suspect accused of assisting prisoners to escape from New Orleans The prison was arrested on Friday, the authorities said.

The New Orleans Police Directorate announced that police officers had detained four people in the home, including Emitta Weber, 28, who was arrested on suspicion of accessories after a simple escape fact.

Police said Weber helped two prisoners after prison in Orleans Parish Criminal condition.

Weber was the last suspect arrested for allegedly assisting those who participated in the run on May 16th. From Friday, five of the 10 fled prisoners were still at large.

The latest arrest was carried out when Corey Boyd was taken into custody on Tuesday.

Other prisoners again faced Kendell Myles, Robert Moody, Dkenan Dennis and Gary Price.

Two others – Casey Smith and Cortnie Harris – were arrested for allegedly helping escape. Another woman, Connie Weeden59, he allegedly gave money to Donald through a cellphone application.

She has been charged with one printing penalty after the fact.

The following fugitives are still at large:

  • Lenton J. Vanburen Jr., 26, is facing accusations of illegally carrying a weapon, possessing firearms or weapons by offense, obstruction of justice and introducing smuggling in prison.
  • Jermaine Donald, 42, is facing a second -degree murder accusation, a worse battery, possession of a firearm or weapon by offense and obstruction of justice.
  • Antoine Massey, 32, is facing accusations of abuse in the family involving giving, the theft of a motor vehicle and a violation of conditional freedom.
  • Derrick Groves, 27, is faced with three attempts second -degree murderTwo second -degree murder points and a criminal institution employed.
  • Leo O. Tate Sr., 31 years, is facing accusations of a simple breakthrough on a populated residence, possession of firearms or weapons by offense, illegally wearing weapons, motor vehicles and multiple drug numbers.

Authorities reminded the public that these people are considered armed and dangerous.
