Professional boxer Georgia O’Connor, 25, died after fighting cancer, said the promoter of a professional boxer, Boxxer.
He described the promoter of the late young fighter as “a real warrior inside and outside the ring.”
“Georgia was loved, respected and admired her friends here in Boxxer. Our thoughts are with her loved ones in this difficult time,” the Boxxer statement received by Guard Read.

In January Instagram post, O’Connor revealed that she had learned of cancer diagnosis. She said she had led to exhausting pain for weeks that brought to diagnosis.
“For 17 weeks since the beginning of October, I was constantly hurting, moving forward -awarding between Durham and Newcastle RVI A & E knowing deep down, something serious is not right,” ” O’Connor wrote a photo from her in a hospital bed.
“I said I felt like a cancer from the beginning. I knew the risks. I have a colitis and PSC, two diseases that dramatically increase the chances of getting it. I know how high the risk they are, and they and they do it. They always did it.”

O’Connor added that doctors refused their concerns “serious”.
“But no doctor F was listening to me — No doctor understood me. No doctor did scan or blood tests I prayed for while crying on the floor in agony,” the Instagram post continued. “Instead, they rejected me. They gasped me, they told me it was nothing, I felt like I was overly reacting. They refused to scan me. They refused to investigate. They refused to listen. One even told me that” everything in my head. “And now the cancer has spread.”
In February, O’Connor spoke about another devastating personal circumstance.
“In the last few months they have been a Rollercoaster,” O’Connor wrote. “I am pregnant with a beautiful baby, suffered an abortion, and then my” incurable “cancer was diagnosed. But I still feel at the top of the world!”
More recently, O’Connor has celebrated the turning point. She announced that she “married her love for” on May 9th.

O’Connor was able to maintain her undefeated boxer records despite her struggle with ulcerative colitis and primary sclerosing cholangitis. She went through 2021. Earned medals at 2017 and 2018 Youth World Cup During his amateur career.
O’Connor was born in Durham, England.
