The popular holiday destination reported that they are on finding a treasury – presenting an interesting opportunity for the detectos of metals that want to escape.
The United Kingdom are hosts tens of millions of tourists annually, including millions of Americans.
In his latest report, the National Statistics Office in the UK estimated that between April 1 and June 30, 2024, there were 10.8 million foreign visits to the UK.

The report says that “1,363 findings were reported to the coroners in 2024, which is an increase of 144 [over] 2023. “
It was also said that “500 investigations have been concluded in the findings. Of these, 98% (491) returned the conclusion of the treasure, which is a two percentage point in comparison with 2023.”

The number of findings was constantly increasing from 1997 to 2017, although he experienced a downward trend between 2018 and 2020.

“There has been a large increase in metal detection activities during and monitoring the coal pandemic, so that since 2021 this number increased,” the report said.
