Qatar’s Prime Minister has denied that President Donald Trump was trying to buy a proposal of $ 400 million jets in his country, saying that the United States Histor had received gifts from many nations.

“I see it as a common thing among allies,” Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thaani said at Doha’s Qatar Economic Forum on Tuesday. “I don’t know why people are thinking that it is considered a bribe or … Qatar wants to buy influence with this administration.”

“This partnership … a two-faced relationship, it is mutually beneficial for Qatar and the United States,” he added.

Qatar’s jet offer came Trump Last week, cyclone traveled to the Gulf, promising to invest trillion in the US economy from Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

In addition to the proposed gift of Boeing 77 Jets, Qatar agreed to buy up to 20 aircraft from Boeing, which was praised as the largest order of the Jets in the history of the United States.

Trump defended the plan to accept $ 400 million dollars as “great gestures” after Democrats criticized the move as “corruption in simple sight”.

Sheikh Mohammed rejected the suggestion that Qatar tried to buy influence with the US administration or in the past with other countries.

“We need to overcome this stereotype in Qatar as a small Arab nation, because it is gas rich, it cannot find its way without buying it with money,” he said.

“Our purpose is to make a very clear exchange. … There is a need to accelerate a temporary air force in the United States, Qatar has the power to supply it.

Trump says that Boeing 747-8 will leave “directly” to his President’s Library when he will leave the office and he will not use it after his expiry. A replacement aircraft for existing Air Force One Jet is being made by Boeing but has been delayed for several years.

“I am very appreciated by it,” Trump told about the Qatari offer last week. “I can’t be like this kind of offer to be returned. I want to say I can be a stupid person and say ‘no, we don’t want a free, very expensive aircraft’.”
