On Monday, Clark said that “his actions were unknown” and vowed to improve.
“I would like to sincerely apologize for my behavior yesterday on Hole 16,” said Clark Ua Post on X. “As professionals, we are expected to stay professional even when we are frustrated, and unfortunately I let my emotions use the best of me. My actions were not without any inappropriate, which is clear, which is clear that I have known that I have things I need to work on.”

Clark also admitted that he had “passed the” high standard “that he held.
“I stick to the high standard, trying to always play for something higher than myself, and yesterday I was missing these standards. Because of that I am really sorry. I promise to improve the way I deal with my frustration on the course and I hope that everyone will be able to forgive me in the near future.”
Clark had a rough show in Charlotte Quail Hollow Cluba place for this year’s PGA Championship.

At one point during his stay in the front nine, Clark produced four consecutive bugs. The tournament finished 50th on the water board.
Scottie Scheffler has won Championship for the insurance of the third major of his career. Clark finished 15 shots behind Scheffler.
