• Lenton J. Vanburen Jr., 26 years, charged with illegal weapons of weapons, possession of firearms or weapons with a misdemeanor, obstruction of justice and introducing smuggling to prison.
• Jermaine Donald, 42, charged with second -degree murder, worsening battery, possession of a firearm or weapon with a misdemeanor and obstruction of justice.
• Antoine Massey, 32, accused of abuse in a family that includes a task, theft of a motor vehicle and a violation of conditional freedom.
• Derrick Groves, 27, charged with three points of second -degree murder attempt, two second -degree murder points, and a battery of employee of a remedial facility.
• Leo O. Tate Sr., 31 years, charged with a simple breakthrough on a populated residence, possession of a firearm or weapon by offender, illegally wearing weapons, theft of motor vehicles and multiple drug costs.

State police Louisiana posted pictures of captured fugitives that led to a helicopter on Friday night.

Kendall Myles, 20, was arrested after a short chasing foot through the French quarter shortly after the escape. Previously, he fled twice from juvenile detention centers.

Two more fugitives were captured by Friday night. Officials found Robert Moody in New Orleans, 21, thanks to the Crimestoppers Council, according to the Sheriff Office of the Orleans Parish. Dkenan Dennis was found near the Chef Menteur highway, announced lawyer Louisiana Liz Murrill on the social platform X.

Susan Hutson’s Sheriff of the Parish of Orleans said on Friday that it was unlikely that prisoners could escape without some help.

Chief lawyer Liz Murrill said they “obviously lowered the ball and had no excuse for it.”

The retired FBI Special Agent Jason Pack tells about Fox News Digital that “Jailbreak in New Orleans should get everyone’s attention.”

“This was not a complicated escape. Ten prisoners came out through the hole behind the toilet,” Pack said. “It’s been over seven hours before anyone noticed that they are gone. It tells you a lot about what’s going on in that prison. Too many people on the staff. There is not enough supervision. And there is probably not enough work equipment or security checks.”

Pack said that the number one goal to enforce the law was quickly and safely returned all prisoners to custody.

“Police do not want this to end with the injured anyone, including escapes. The goal is to find them, surround them and bring them without any drama. This is what officials are training. It’s not a chase on the title. It’s about doing the job carefully and professionally, even when the public looks,” Pack said.
