For the first time in four years, Jamie-Lee Arrow was ready to sit face to face with his father “Skara Cannibal”.
He was October 2024, and a 23-year-old, now a mother of two young children, hoped she would reunite with a man she knew and loved.
“I had no idea how he would react,” Arrow told Fox News Digital. “And I didn’t know how to react. I couldn’t even imagine how he would feel. But when I first saw him, it was like we were always together. And when he started crying and showing so much emotions, he felt really nice. He felt he changed. I thought he had changed.”

One of the shocking killings in Sweden is investigated at an investigative discovery series of true crime“Evil lives here: The killer speaks.” The two -hour special, now available for streaming, contains intimate interviews with Arrow, as well as her father Isakin Jonsson.
In 2010, Jonsson, 46, brutally killed his girlfriend Helle Christensen, 40, in his shot in Sweden, home. According to the episode, he disgusted Christensen’s throat, checked and ate parts of his remains. Arrow had nine at the time.

“I accidentally saw the newspaper,” she recalled. “I didn’t know what the word” cannibal “meant. But when I was 13, I read some articles, and then I realized what the word meant. But by then, my father wrapped me around my finger. He made himself a good person and his girlfriend was a villain. The brain washed me to believe that.”

As a child, Arrow lived in two worlds. She described her mother’s home as “love and normal.” But when it was time to visit her father, she experienced the “dark side”. There was no light in his home, she recalled. He was busy watching violent horror films and made puppets Macabre Vuda. Jonsson warned her not to tell her mother.
“It was like demons and the devil was our reality,” she said. “… that was so normal for me. But I kept it all in me.”

For some days, Jonsson was a “perfect dad” he called and loved. But the mood swings were like a whip and, without warning, it could be cold and distant. Sometimes he would send a confused arrow home when “he couldn’t handle me.”

At the age of nine, Arrow met Christensen, his father’s new girlfriend. Arrow frozen the mother of five warm behavior and flaming red hair. She considered her “another mom”.
“My impression was that she really loved him,” Arrow explained. “But I was never under the impression that my father loved her. I knew she … begged her to love her back. The episode described how Christensen and Jonsson had often violently fought. Arrow was witnessing their quarrels and would worry that something bad could happen.

Arrow’s mother tried to protect her daughter From the homicide news. Arrow said she had entered a state of shock when she learned from the press that her beloved stepmother had been killed by her father.
“I cried my eyes,” she said. “… I got a very fast denial. The next day I was cold. I was cold as an ice. I couldn’t feel anything … I was just stunned. And that was scary because I didn’t recognize myself. I think I went into denial to protect myself.”

In 2011, Jonsson was convicted of Christensen’s murder. The court placed him in a psychiatric hospital. Over the years, the arrow has been spiral into depression and anxiety, which has led to a medical drug addiction.
During this time, she stayed in touch with her father. When she opened up to him that he would tease him at school, he suggested that Voodoo dolls were punished, the episode revealed.
Arrow later confided in his father to suffering from depression and thought about her own life. He made her perform a ritual where she would have to sell her soul to the devil, she said.
He also opened the murder.

“When I was 18, he asked me, ‘Jamie, do you want me to go through how I committed the murder? “Arrow said.
“It’s such a distorted thing to say. [But] He went through it. I was so surprised because he didn’t show remorse. He almost said that with passion. And I sat there, wanting to throw myself away. He almost had a smile on his face. Then everything became so real, like, ‘Oh, my God. He really did that. ‘It is the first time I have truly felt in my body that my father is not good. “… his eyes have become black,” Arrow said. “He reminded me of what he used to be when I was a kid. It scared me, because he talked to me the same way as he used to talk to his girlfriend he killed. Because of that, I felt like I was not different from her.”

At 19, Arrow decided to stop visiting his father. As time went on, she wondered if he had changed for the better. Then she decided to see him again.
The series caught a disturbing gathering of money. During their emotional sitting, Jonsson claimed to have killed Christensen because he would then get a psychiatric Assistance to his exacerbation of mental health. He also claimed that Christensen had a mortal desire.

“I used to believe that so hard,” Arrow admitted. “I didn’t question it at all. I believe there are some truths in that, but I also believe he always liked to watch … really twisted movies. I believe he had sick fantasies. I believe he saw the murder as a chance to live these fantasies.”

Still, Arrow does not consider Jonsson as “evil.”
“I mean him as a very broken, sick person,” she said. “What he did was evil. It was an evil thing. And there is nothing to make up for it. There is no pronunciation for that. It was completely evil. But I see him as my father, my very broken and sick dad.”

“I know he had a very difficult childhood, much worse than mine,” she continued. “I’m sorry a little child who is my father, because no one knows what would have happened if he had a better start in life.”

According to the series, Jonsson was released from the hospital, but remained under control. Arrow, after closing, now mourning him “as if he were dead,” People magazine reported. The episode divided that there was no desire for Jonsson to be part of his children’s life.
“To become a mother, she made me watch everything differently,” she thought. “I can look at the little Jamie from my parents’ perspective. Because of this I understood so much about my childhood. Sometimes I thought some events had happened in my childhood because of me, because I was guilty. But I became a mother, I realized that I realized that none of that was my fault.”
Jamie-Lee Arrow hopes her story will encourage others who fight PTSD, depression and anxiety to speak and share their stories. “You’re not alone,” she told Fox News Digital. (Detecting an investigation)
“Sometimes I just want to come back in time and hug myself,” she said. “… my goal by sharing my story has always been for people to understand and believe that everyone can make it, no matter where they come from, no matter how broken they are.
