Deputy Director of FBI Dan Bongino has issued a sharp and public condemnation of former director elect, James Comey, on Saturday, accusing Comey of belittling the agency while the authorities are investigating authorities Comey’s controversial Instagram Post “86 47”.

“As a deputy director of the FBI, I am accused, standing with Director Patel, of managing the most powerful agency for law enforcement in the world. The director and I are also responsible for watching serious mistakes that people in the FBI have made in the past and ensuring that they never happen again.”
He emphasized the continuing commitment to the FBI for support of federal partners to enforce the laws that have investigated any threats that include public officers, past or present.
“Although the FBI does not have a primary investigative responsibility for exploring threats against POTUS, and we do not make prosecutorial decisions, we have the opportunity to support other Federal Law Bitness Agency,” Bongino said.

The FBI did not immediately respond to the Fox News Digital request for further comment.
