George Cat I didn’t have one.
Cat fugitive decided recently that it was time to leave the animal hospital in Lakeland, Floridawhile still recovering after he was castrated. So, he broke out of the crate and reduced the fence.
“I was upset and broken heart,” George’s owner said, Bob Beasock Fox 13.
SPCA Florida employees chased George but couldn’t catch him.
George Cat decided recently that it was time to leave the Lakeland Animal Hospital, Florida, while still recovering after he was castrated. So, he broke out of the crate and reduced the fence. (Fox 13)
“George managed to get out of the trap, and he literally reduced some dog fences and entered the woods. And our staff literally lifted each other over the fence to try to chase George to catch him,” Randa Richter of SPC Florida told Fox 13, adding that he still had a “silly drug” after his categation.
Days later, George arrived home 3 miles away.
“To get stuck in the SPCA, I would call Uber, but George didn’t have that opportunity,” Besock joked. “But returning from there, he has to go through two or three hits. He has to go around the lake, another lake that is between us and SPCA, and probably five or six roads.”

Verified Cat Bihevior Specialist Joey Lusvardi said the cat cells developed to find a return.
“We think it is because of the combination of odors or visual markers and possibly geomagnetiism,” which refers to Earth’s magnetic field, Lusvardi said.

“Contrary to popular opinion, cats are very tied to us, so they will eventually want to find their way home.”
