The British authorities have accused three Iranian citizens “assist in a foreign intelligence services”, identified a new stage in one Counter -intelligence Iranian activities in the UK target.
Metropolitan Police was arrested against Mostafa Sepahwand (3), Farhad Jabadi Manesh (3) and Shapur Kalehali Khani Noori (3), on May 7, under the National Protection Act of 2021, and all the residents of London.
According to the Met, the trilogy in support of Iran was between 14 August 2024 and February 16 2025.
Sepahawand faces the surveillance and revisations on the intention of serious violence in the United Kingdom. Manesh and Nuri have been accused of simplifying such violence through their actions.
The arrests were part of a broad anti -terrorist attempt where eight Iranian citizens were detained in two separate operations on May 3.
Three people have been officially accused, the remaining five are still under investigation, one has been released on conditional bail.
The United States National Protection Act 2023 has enhanced the ability to resolve threats raised by foreign states of law enforcement. Article 2 27 allowed the arrest of suspects to be involved in the threat of foreign electricity without warrants in Article 28 of Act.
Dominic Murphy, commander of the Met Counter Terrorism Command, says: “These are very serious allegations under the National Security Act, which is following a very complex and rapid investigation.”
The Iranian government did not immediately comment on the arrest.
