Leaked the sound that shares Axios From the interview of President Joe Biden in 2023, with a special advisor Robert HUR, he re-asked serious questions about his mental sharpness, especially as he struggled to remember when his own son died and when Donald Trump was elected president.
At one point, Biden tries To remember the death of his son, Beau, “My son. Either he is distributed or dying. And so … what happened?”
“What is a lot in dying? May 30, 2015. He died,” Biden said. “May 2015. I think it is 2015 in 2015. I’m not sure they are months, but I think that’s it.”

In the sound, Biden also mixes the year of Trump’s victory for 2016: “Trump was selected in November 2017 2016, 2016, so … then we left the office, January 2017, but then Trump swore manually.”
The memories of the fall are part of a six -hour interview that Hur used to support his conclusion that Biden’s memory is “significantly limited”.
At the time, the White House kept a sound under the cover as critical moments in Biden’s own life, and in recent American history seemed completely beyond the reach of the former president.
