Tallahasseee Police Chief Lawrence Revell posted a statement before Ikner’s first appearance.
“In any case, especially one of this size, the Tallahasse Police Directorate has the greatest commitment to the justice, transparency and security of our community,” the statement said. “We are grateful for the work of our detectives, officials, medical staff and partner agencies that helped us bring us to this point.”
