The Fountain Valley Police Directorate posted an audio and video records on Wednesday regarding the shooting in the officer involved, which took place a few months ago on January 24th.
Lieutenant Mike Parsons said the incident began around 11 o’clock that day after a worried community member called the Discatch Center Police Directorate to report a “disturbed” man who tried to open the door of a woman’s car.
The woman was trying to take herself out of high school in the area when a man, who “seemed to be wrong with him,” began to retreat on the handle of his car, the caller said. The woman, who was not identified, was reportedly afraid, which was what prompted the caller to contact Dispatch.

The suspect, who was later identified by police as 26-year-old Osean McClintock, was described as a man without a T-shirt, perhaps white or Latin American, carrying jeans. The caller also said he had a shaved head.
Officers then responded to an area near high school at the invitation of a “suspicious subject” and a male officer located McClintock. He approached him on foot and asked him to sit in a place, to which McClintock said he didn’t have to. He began to repeat, “In the name of Jesus please. Forever. Amen” and took off his running.
A male officer chased a little after him but stopped when he saw McClintock in the parking lot Police Directorate.
McClintock approached the female officer, who was in her patrol vehicle, and a physical altercation began. He tried to grab her gun, which attracted as she approached her vehicle, and eventually was successful in taking it from her.

Sound shots and Bodycam from Prepirka have found it to be a fight. In the recording of Bodycam, McClintock could be heard repeatedly, “You have saved yourself in Jesus’ name forever!”
She could hear her shouting, “She has my gun! She has my gun!”

The male officer began running toward them when he heard the crowd. While the female police officers were covered behind what seemed like a USPS vehicle, the male officer asked McClinetock to put a gun away.

He refused and entered the driver’s seat of a female officer’s patrol car, causing a male officer to fired more blows in his direction.
It is unclear how many times McClintock has been shot. The first answers were performed by CPR and first aid services, but was declared dead after the paramedics arrived.

Fountain Valley Police Chief Cox said the shooting investigation remains active and that it might take up to a year to conclude because it included the officer.
