NFL owners to vote on allowing active players in 2028 Olympic flag football

The resolution that will be considered as one player from each NFL list will compete in the 2028 games. The exemption will be approved for the international player of each team representing his homeland.

Injuries protection and a salary loan for players injured while competing at the Olympic Games would also have been established, the resolution states. Contracts on the standards for the field are also in place.

Flag Football will make his debut as an Olympic sport in 2028. The Los Angeles Olympics will present four more new sports – baseball/softball, cricket, lacrosse and zucchini.

The 2028 Olympics are planned to start in mid -July. The games are expected to overlap with NFL training camp arrange.
