Tkalc’s lawyer, Matthew Durkin, called the contract “awful”, noting that Weaver was killed during the premiere of his life.
John Weaver noted that a teenager who killed his daughter in the United States was illegal and unlicensed.

In a Facebook post This week Padden addressed Weaver’s death, focusing on the dangers of too fast driving.
“We admit that the death of Kaitlyn Weaver was a direct result of a collision caused by an unlicensed teenager who drove almost twice as much as a speed limit,” she wrote. “This tragic loss is a strong reminder that not just alcohol or drug rides.
