‘House of Cards’ star Patricia Clarkson dishes on ‘surviving Hollywood’

Patricia Clarkson survived Hollywood.

During an interview with Fox News Digital, Clarkson, 65, she talked about her own real -life experience that her latest movie “Lilly” brought to the surface.

The film is “based on an extraordinary true story of a working -class hero, Lilly Ledbetter, a diligent supervisor to the Alabama tire factory whose unique goal is to raise your family in the middle class”, The movie’s website states

“I’m not 25-year-old. I’ve lived a lot in my life. I survived Hollywood, okay. I’m New Orlean, who now lives in New York,” Clarkson said.

“Unfortunately, my mother went through and was unable to watch this movie, which was heartily because my mother was powerful. [New Orleans] And Lily Ledbett was one of her heroes. Of course, she raised five daughters. My mother raised five daughters, and we all do women and my sisters are very excellent people.

“I’m just a weak actress. Everyone has a real career and real lives,” Clarkson said with a laugh.

“I had extraordinary men in my life. Not all of them, but there are quite a few who have just made me a better person and I am very grateful to some extraordinary men I have come out with in my life,” Clarkson said. “Many needed their wife and I knew I wasn’t that.”

Clarkson told Fox News Digital that there are 10 nephews and nephews she “adores” and they continued to have their own children.

“One of my greatest joy in all my life is to be their aunt. And now everyone has these beautiful children who you can eat on a spoon. And that’s enough for me. I love other children. But I think I’m the best single,” Clarkson said.

Clarkson said there was one man who was considering her marriage, but looking where she is now, she is convinced that the relationship will not succeed. She did not name the man she thought.
