Customer-customer-service race between Delta air lines and jetblue once more neck and neck.
The two carrying two have something boasted at 2025 JD Power Power North American airline study satisfaction. Delta, for the third year in a row, the main part of the premium economy in the survey. JetBlue, however, also recovered at the highest place for the first / business class after the second year’s second place.
Southwest Airlines Once again lead customer satisfaction for economic / basic seats. That is the fourth year of the southwest that is at the top of the field.
“Throughout our one-year study period, we’ve seen a slight decline in both ticket prices and passenger volumes, which has helped keep overall passenger satisfaction levels high,” Michael Taylor, Senior Managing Director of Travel, Hospitality, Retail and JD Power, Said in a Statement. “But it is obvious that the market dynamics change and are likely to affect the passenger experience in the coming weeks and months.”
The passenger’s overall satisfaction jumps six points last year, mostly from the strength of the economic section. Premium Economy flyers are less happy, with satisfaction that falls 7 points.
Less than 10% of 10,2244 passengers JD power tells that they say they have experienced problems last year, that flight delays are the most quoted.
With the cost of living spike due to tariffs, airlines have seen little bookings in the first half of 2025. Customer satisfaction is the carriers who help some struggles.
“Airlines are likely to have a terrible year this year, economically, but the key to their higher term success is how they handle economic experience,” Taylor said.
