Andrew Giuliani, the son of former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, was appointed Executive Director of the White House Working Group for 2026. FIFA World Cup Tuesday.

“I am proud to announce the appointment of Andrew Giuliani as the executive director of the presidential working group at the FIFA World Cup 2026,” the announcement said.

“During my first term, Andrew served as a special assistant of the President and the associate director of the Public Relationship Office, playing a key role in creating a system that enabled athletes from all over the world to re -enter the United States during the reopening of America 2020.”
In March Trump signed an executive command that established a working group for football tournament, which will host the US, Canada and Mexico. Trump will perform the post of chairman of the working group, while Vice President JD Vance will be a vice president. As executive director, Giuliani will be in charge of managing and monitoring everyday surgery.
In an interview with the printing members after the meeting, Trump praised Giuliani and his father, calling the latter the “greatest” mayor in New York history.

“He will be great. I have known him for a long time. He is a very competitive golfer, really good. He is also a very competitive person, and he loves what we do. I want to congratulate you and your family and your father, your great father, who is the greatest mayor in New York history,” Trump said in a joke, “better,” better post. ”
Trump also announced on Tuesday that Carlos Cordiro, an older FIFA counselor, would serve as a senior counselor in the working group.
“I know that Andrew and Carlos will work tirelessly to make the FIFA World Cup 2026. The unprecedented success.”
