In a digital interview with Fox News a few minutes after the awards ceremony, Pence said: “In all my travels across the country in the last four years, I deeply humiliated how many Americans came to me and I just took the point to encourage and support us, and that assures me that the US people know that all the differences we can have.

The US-65-year-old Pence was a governor of Indiana when Trump appointed him his racing colleagues in 2016. Pence was a loyal Vice President of Trump for four years during the president’s first term in the White House.

However, it all changed on January 6, 2021, because the right-wing extremists and some of the “Hang Mike Pence” singings-a US Capitol to improve the congress certification, which was overseen by Pence as part of his constitutional duties of vice president, Biden’s Victory of the Election Faculty.

IN Attack on the capitol Shortly after Trump spoke with a large expensive supporter near the White House about unproven claims that the 2020 elections were “set up” because of the huge “voter fraud”.

Pence has long described the violent attack on the capitol as “tragic” and separated “millions of people who supported our cause throughout the country.” He emphasized that he did a “right thing” and did his “duty to the Constitution”. He also noted several times that he and Trump may never “see his face to face” that day.

While Pence, his family and top associates, was bustled by the secret services agents while the rebellion wandered through the halls of the capitol, Trump claimed in the post on social media that “Mike Pence did not have the courage to do what needed to be done to protect our country and our constitution, giving the states a chance to confirm the correct facts, not requested.

Pence rejected the advice of a secret service to escape from the capitol, and after the rebellion was eventually removed from the capitol, he continued his constitutional role in the control of the Congress ceremony ceremony.

The former Vice President repeatedly rejected Trump’s claim that he could cancel the results of the presidential election. Nevertheless, Hardcore Trump’s loyalists never forgave Pence, who they consider a traitor, for refusing to help the president’s repeated efforts to cancel the election results in 2020.

In June 2023, Pence launched his own presidential campaign, joining the great challenger area to shoot Trump for the GOP 2024 nomination, becoming the first traveler in more than 80 years who ran against his former boss.

Pence ran on a traditional conservative platform, framing the future of the Republican Party against what he called the increase in “populism” in the party.

Among the thin anti-trump base of the Republican Party, Pence received praise for his courage during the attack on the capitol, often thanks to the city councilors during his campaign to leave Trump.

While Pence regularly ran in the key early voting states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, his White House offer never took off. Fighting at the polls and with the collection of funds, he suspended his campaign only four and a half months after declaring his candidacy.

After giving up on his own offering for the White House, Pence refused to support Trump, even after Trump won the GOP nomination last spring, although he congratulated his former racing colleague after winning November last year.
