President Donald Trump He said on Sunday that he was planning to appoint a new national security advisor for about six months, saying to reporters that former advisor Mike Waltz had not resigned, but instead eared the upgraded position as an Ambassador of the Administration in the United Nations.
On Sunday night, Trump spoke with the Air Force journalists, where he was asked about several topics, including trade agreements, Mexican cartels and the position of national security advisers.
One journalist asked the president about the exit of Waltz as a national security adviser, who the president said he was elected what he called a “higher position” or “upgrade”.
Trump also said Waltz was not wrong, and, as an ambassador to the UN, he would do a good job.

“I didn’t lose confidence in him,” Trump said. “He goes to United Nations for reasons. For me, I think it’s personally, if I had safety for myself … I’d rather have a job than others. “
He also reiterated that Waltz had not resigned, but Trump moved him.
“There was no resignation,” the president said.

Waltz and other employees of the National Security Council were overthrown on Thursday from their office in the most prominent exit of the Executive Office from another Trump administration. Trump’s announcement on the appointment of a waltz as the UN ambassador took place just hours after the news began to circulate.
Trump told reporters on Sunday that he plans to appoint someone to the position of national security advisers within six months, saying that there are a lot of people who want a job, who acts in current responsibility of State Secretary Marc Rubi – a temporary national security adviser.

The president was also asked if any trade contracts would be published this week, saying that some could reach some.
But when he is pressed if he can say more about the contracts, Trump stayed.

“No one understands,” he said. “We negotiate with many countries. But in the end I will set my jobs because I have concluded the job. They do not set a contract. I answered the contract.”
Trump said he met with almost all countries about trade agreements, including China.
Explaining the procedure further, Trump said he would set up a tariff, and the country could agree to it or not.
“They don’t have to deal with us, which is fine, because we lost under the bidet. We lose $ 5 billion a day,” he said. “Imagine that. $ 5 billion a day. Now we’re not dealing with cinema at all because of the tariff … that’s why we save billions of dollars.”
