Mariano Rivera, who spent his entire career with the MLB with New York Yankees, was added as a defendant in the lawsuit. River’s wife, Clara Rivera, is also listed as a defendant in a modified sex abuse suit tolerated by an unnamed girl and her mother.

Rivers were not appointed defendants in the initial appointment. Instead, the Church, Refuge of Hope and Brook View Rye, LLC are listed as defendants. The limited liability company cites the address of the former Rivera House, which they sold in 2022.

In the previous submission, Rivera was accused of taking inadequate measures to protect the girl listed as Jane Doe in the appeal. The complaint states that the attack occurred in “About Summer 2018” in the New York House at the time owned by the Riveras.
According to the lawsuit, the alleged abuse took place on the grill to which the children who attended the Church were invited. However, the parents of the children who attended did not receive invitations, according to the lawsuit.

The details of the altered lawsuits were in accordance with the initial application. In both submissions, the waterfront allegedly neglected the girl’s claims of sexual abuse and “isolated and intimidated” in an effort to ensure that she remained calm for the alleged incident.
“Instead of taking enough measures to end the sexual abuse of Jane A Doe, Rivera is every separately isolated and intimidated by Jane and Doe to keep quiet about her abuse so as not to create problems for Refugia and Summer Standing of Ignite Life,” the lawsuit said.
“In order to avoid the potential scandal of sexual abuse of children in their programs and otherwise protect the accused above all, Rivera, in their capacities as agents and/or employees of the accused, they ensured that Jane A Doe was safe and without danger in the burning center of life, despite the real or constructive knowledge

Joseph A. Ruta, a lawyer representing Riveras, said the charges against his clients are “completely false”.

The plaintiff seeks the trial of jury and compensatory and criminal damage.
Rivera, 55, is a five-time world-class champion and a 13-patch MLB All-Star. He was introduced to the National Famous Hall of Fame in 2019.
