Former top adviser to former speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., She suggested a democratic leader of Hakem Jeffies, Dn.y., does not fulfill the moment in the current Trump era.
“Trump just gives us all this incredibly red meat. I mean, I’ve never seen anything like this before. It’s like the biggest gift that any parties have given opposition, and we just connect it,” said former Pelosi adviser Ashley Etienne Politic’s deep dive Podcast.
Etienne helped Pelosi to monitor the messages of Democrats during the President Donald Trump The first impeachment. Earlier, she also worked for former Vice President Kamala Harris and the campaign of former President Barack Obama in 2008.
She said that Jeffies was “good” in many areas and said that she “had a huge respect” for the New York Democrat, but hinted that he lacked the possibilities for fighting messages against Trump.

“He gave a speech this morning. I have no point to talk in my phone about what he said. And I’ll do TV and this interview all day. It’s a failure,” Etienne said.
“How to get disciplines if you don’t tell people what the hell you want them to say? At least emphasized, at least tone.”
Jeffies allies pushed out against this characterization, pointing out that IntraParty friction attracted attention from Trump’s low survey numbers and Republican policies.
“Donald Trump’s approval evaluations fall, and he brings Republicans from the house. Extreme Maga Republicans were forced to delay their plans to improve Trump’s legislation priority in the central part because of the intense aversion against their scheme to bring the history of Medicaid history.
It was not until Friday morning that Jeffries posted a statement waiting for Republicans of the house that they had to delay part of their legislative work on the improvement of Trump’s agenda.
But Etienne’s comments were noted from the former assistant senior democratic leadership to one of the most powerful current party officials, who came after several months of Democrats were tortured in conflict over trouble.
Etienne noted that Democrats had achieved several wins on the front -exchange front, such as “successfully demonizing Elon Musk” and the recent record speech by Senator Cory Booker.
But she stood out Liberal protests during Trump’s speech at a common session of Congress as a “shameful” failure for the party and Jeffries.

“If you look at titles after speaking, even during speech, be it Democrats and Democrats protest, not what Trump actually said. And in such moments you don’t want to become a story. You want Trump to be a story, “Etienne said.
“And I also thought it was a problem for Mr. Jeffies. I mean, he really says a lot about people appreciating his leadership. He asked for any protest. What did they do? They protested in 50 different ways.”
Both Pelosi and Jeffies offices said the politics said that the latter often was looking for a former contribution, and a spokesman Jeffiesa retired to Politic’s reporting that the Democratic leaders of House sought to cross over Pelosi and that Jeffies does not do enough to help democratic groups with messages.
One of these groups, the PCCC (PCCC) Campaign Committee, pushed a claim that they did not hear enough from Jeffies.
PCCC sent a statement to the public saying: “Today, in the article Politico, we are not interested in an apartment, former Pelosi employee attacked Hakem Jeffies. PCCC co-founder Adam Green said:” We hear more than Jeffries than we’ve ever heard from Pelosia. “
Meanwhile, the Democratic Assistant House said Fox News Digital that Jeffries had “more calls”, reviewing his earlier speech about Trump’s first 100 days in power, as well as conversations, “emphasizing the message of the leader that the first 100 days of President Trump was a catastrophe for the US people.”
Stephenson, a spokesman for Jeffies, also posted on X from Politic’s report: “Can anyone tell me how great this kind is anything else but a gift to the Republicans?”
But the choice of Republicans quickly ran into a discomfort in the house.
“Hakeem Jeffies is a so -called team leader who doesn’t fear him, he doesn’t follow him, and now he doesn’t pretend to respect him,” a spokesman for the National Republican Congress (NRCC) Mike Marinella said in a statement.

Democratic strategist Julian Epstein, former Chief Advisor to the House of Justice Committee, criticized Jeffies’s leadership, but said Trump is not the main problem of Democrats.
“He is not a particularly effective speaker, he does not give a sense of direction or purpose, it seems that he intends to not insult anyone and has a management style that seems extremely passive,” Epstein said.
“Democrats in the house look like a big stain that goes wherever gravity leads them, and currently gravity leads them to a heavy protest to the left. But no matter who the leader is, if the democrats sell a product that voters don’t like, it won’t matter.”
Pelosi’s office did not immediately respond to the Fox News Digital request for comment.
