Medically assisted suicide has received support in New York over the last decade, but opponents of this measure claim that it is related to suicide that is sponsored by the countries.

“The conversation started seriously last year. So, I think we have time to look at it seriously,” she told reporters.
It is unclear whether the Democratic government Kathy Hochul will sign a measure if it adopts a state legislative body.
There are 10 US countries with legalized suicide with the help of a doctor. Several other countries, including Canada, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands, have also legalized the assisted suicide.
