David Horowitz, a a conservative commentatorThe author and activist, died on Tuesday at the age of 86, according to the David Horowitz Freedom Center, a conservative research center he founded.
Horowitz died after a Long battle with cancerThe center wrote on X.
“On behalf of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, we are very sad to announce the founding of the founder of the David Horowitz Center,” he said in the center.

His son, Benjamin Horowitz, co -founder of the risky capitalist company Andreessen Horowitz, shared an obituary at a social media in which they highlighted the career in the media and activism, including several books that he wrote his approval of the President Donald Trump.
When the younger Horowitz met Trump last year, he told the president about his father.
“The face of President Trump immediately caught fire and he insisted that Benjamin immediately got David on the phone,” he writes in the obituary. “Hospitalized and weak, David was still delighted to talk to the president.”

Former Marxist, a conservative commentator was born in Queens. He graduated from Columbia University and received his master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
David Horowitz survives his wife April Mulvain, sons Benjamin and Jonathan and daughter Anne. His second daughter Sarah Rose died in 2008. Mulvain is his fourth wife.

“In the end, David helped countless people and consumed every fiber to push him to the Freedom,” writes the obituary. “He may not have saved the world, but he certainly made him a better place – especially for us. He was our super hero and we will love him forever.”
