Hoge shared his opinion on Sanders for days before the draft started in an interview Wdve in Pittsburgh.

“I think the best way to summarize him is, he is a really good college,” Hoge explained. “His accuracy is good, his processing is good. And when I say good, I use a scale of 1 to 10, so good about five. So if you are five in college, okay? They (accuracy and process) are the two most important aspects of moving to the national football league, and then you, and not go, and then you, if you are not in your pocket.”

Furthermore, Hoge took a problem with Sanders allegedly inflated numbers. The Buffaloes star has a FBS record of all time to end with 71.8%, but Hoge rejected it while Sanders threw a lot of screens with bubbles.

He did not believe that the use of these types of performances would be translated into NFL. He said that teams would look for sets of skills that had guys like Joe Burrow, CJ Stroud and Jayden Daniels.

“He’s not even close, he’s not even in the playground. … There’s some strength to him, but as he moves, he won’t put fear for anyone,” Hoge said, adding that teams should be careful that Sanders can bear the expectations that will be, along with what will be in the first place.

“He can’t handle the expectations that come to him,” he added. “He will be an epic failure and will set your organization for another two or three years.”

These expectations were slightly silent after it fell into the fifth round. However, Sanders is able to win the initial job at the camp because it is not set in stone that Kenny Pickett or Joe Flacco will be QB1 after the season begins.

Gabriel is a leader of all time at Touchdown passes at the FBS level, but even he has been chosen late in the draft.
