Hochul, New York lawmakers agree on charge for wearing mask while committing a crime

New York Gov. Kathy HochulDemocrat, on Monday, announced a $ 254 billion budget contract, which includes an agreement with state legislators to add additional fees for people carrying masks as crimes begin.

“He really tries to focus on people who carry a mask about hiding their identity as they begin another crime,” he told reporters, speaker of the Assembly Carl Heastie, according to Gothamist.
