According to Iranian state media, talks began on Saturday in Muscat Oman capital. But the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and the US envoy at Mideast Steve Witkoff did not offer immediate discussions.
Araghchi arrived in Oman on Friday and met with an Oman Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr al-Busaidi, who mediated two earlier rounds of conversations in Muskat and Rome. Aryghchi was seen going to talk late in the morning.
