The states they allow illegal immigrants Unemployment benefits could be collected could lose federal funding, Lara’s Lori Chavez-Demer Labor Minister Lori said on Friday.
In a letter to all the governors, Chavez-Demer invited them to adhere to President Donald TrumpDirectives to ensure that the tax dollars are not used to illegally use those in the US.
“The benefits of our country’s unemployment exist exclusively for workers who are entitled to them,” Chavez-Demer wrote. “In order to qualify for unemployment, we must be able and available for work, actively looking for work and to be legally authorized acceptance of employment in the United States. Unemployment fees are not manuals for those in our country illegally.”

Chavez-Demer urged the states to use Sava, an online database for registered federal, state and local administrations, to check the immigration status of the applicant seeking benefits or licenses.
This move comes as Trump’s administration continues to suppress the illegal immigrants receiving taxpayers’ fees.
On Thursday, Brooke Rolins Agriculture Minister said that the US Food and Medicines Administration (USDA) takes measures to ensure that illegal immigrants are no longer receiving additional nutritional assistance (Snap), widely known as as food stamps.

“Food programs USDA are intended to support the most endured Americans,” Rollins said. “To allow those who have violated our laws by illegally entering into the United States to receive these benefits is incredible.”
Last month, the Minister of Housing and Urban Development Scott Turner warned the illegal immigrants living in housing funded by the Government to give HUD priority only to Americans under Trump’s administration.

“In HUD, we only serve one of the four Americans we should serve and that must be done,” Turner told Fox News Digital at the time. “And so not only do we do this in priority, but we give our only priority, that US citizens will benefit from diligent American taxpayers.”
