“In recent days, significant attention on social networks has been paid to the display of student art produced in the class in our Bachelor of Fine Arts program. The work has presented violence against elected officials and in no way reflected the Kent State view,” said the President.
Diacon explained that after the University learned of the project on Wednesday night, he set an obstacle to restricting access only to those who wanted to see the picture.
The student then voluntarily lowered the project last Thursday.
