Actress Eva Longoria has suggested the co -organizers of “The View” that support for Dei initiatives is not only “moral imperative” but also “good job”.
With the increase in President Donald Trump to power, many companies started Dismantling their dei programs as part of the sea change in business and culture.
On Tuesday, the co -organizer “The View” Joy Behar spoke with Longoria about her entertainment production company, noting that “believes in the growth of a future talent pipeline in the entertainment industry” even as as Dei programs are “seized” in most of the country. The co -organizer then asked the actress how he was using his company to push himself against that trend.

Actress Eva Longoria claimed that Dei was not only morally righteous but also a good job.
The main companies still engaged in Dei policies under new names, claims consumer guards
“Oh, yes, I think, it’s not just a media industry, but all industries are,” ” Said Longoria. “But we have to remember why Dei was created, and it was a historical exclusion, which is not just that they are Latin and black. These are women, they are disabled … It is LGBTQ+, it is a lot of marginalized communities that can never tell their stories.”
When asked why people push against Dei, Longoria said she didn’t understand from a business perspective.
“I don’t know, because it’s a bad job,” the actress said. “It’s not just a moral imperative. Like I do it because it’s morally okay, I want an authentic storytelling and I want people who have lived these stories to tell them. But we create programming for the most different audience ever in the history of the world.”
She claimed again, “It’s not just a moral imperative. It’s just a good job, and at the end of the day I’m a businesswoman, so why not want to create for the growing market and not to reduce the market?”

“You can say that is gone. We’re not going anywhere,” she said. “So, we will continue to make films that we want to make and tell the stories and, listen, if you want to say that this is not happening, we will pat your hand and say,” Okay. “
