“We have to keep an eye on the ball. We have to avoid Iran or prevent Iran from getting a weapon. This is the goal.”
Grossa said that from the perspective not only of the top nuclear agencies, but also from the world leaders he communicated with, there is a “degree of expectation” that after political agreements would get out between Washington and Teheran, that the nuclear expressions would make “credible” and “verifiable”.
“Everyone expects Iaea to enter the right time,” he said. “We are in service to support, make this thing credible. In a sense, they may have a political agreement, but then we have to do so verifiable.”
