Deion Sanders takes aim at ‘multiple IDIOTS’ suggesting he will choose where his sons play in NFL

“Coach Prime” had time on Monday to call out the “multiple IDIOTS” on social media who believe they know where he wants his sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sanders play in the NFL.

Deion Sanders, head coach Colorado Buffaloesposted his thoughts on Xu after seeing other social media users suggest teams he didn’t want Shedeur to play for.

Week 17 brought a major reordering of the 2025 NFL Draft, as the New York Giants, holders of the first overall pick, shocked the Indianapolis Colts and fell to No. 4 on the list.

If the season ended Monday, the New England Patriots would be the No. 1 pick after just taking Drake Maye third overall in April.

“There will be more IDIOTS saying things that aren’t true at all about where I’d like @ShedeurSanders & @ShiloSanders to play in the @nfl,” Sanders tweeted. “If I say it, I will say it directly to whom it may concern, not attention seekers. I know @nflcommish personally!”

The significance of the NFL draft chatter comes after Shedeur was seen wearing custom Giants cleats before the Buffaloes’ last game against BYU, a 36-14 loss in the Valero Alamo Bowl.

And it comes after a video of Shedeur on the training pitch went viral after he said: “We know where we’re going, you’ll see them in the boots later this week.”

Considering the Giants need a franchise quarterback after Daniel Jones was fired midseason, Shedeur, considered a possible first-round pick in April, has been among those linked to the team.

Those connections continued when Shedeur was spotted hooking up with Giants star rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers on the streets of New York, having first been in town for a teammate Travis HunterHeisman Trophy Ceremony.

But now, the Tennessee Titans, another quarterback-needy team with Will Levis and Mason Rudolph failing to cement the role, sit above the Giants in the draft order at No. 2 overall.

An argument could even be made that the Cleveland Browns, owners of the third overall pick, could be in the market for a quarterback even with Deshaun Watson signed for years to come.

As for Shilo, there are questions about whether the 6-foot-1, 195-pound defensive back will even be drafted. He has strong catching attributes, but his coverage skills are lacking in the eyes of experts.

But the Prime coach made it clear that he believes Shedeur will be taken with the first overall pick, and even suggested that he would jump if there wasn’t the right structure in the organization that selects his son.

Time will tell if that comes to fruition — an Eli Manning situation, if you will — but the process has already begun for Shedeur, Shilo and the rest of the NFL prospects who aren’t playing college games this season.
