There is a jump in the Roman Catholic Church, because young adults are reportedly looking for a “moral order” after the pandemic years.
While people can turn into Catholic faith in any time of year, Easter season is when many decide to do so. According to the National Catholic Register, “certain dioceses report an increase of 30%, 40%, 50%and even more than 70%” this year. One certain diocese at Fort Worthh in Texas saw spikes in numbers, where the number of converters with “896 at Easter 2023. To 1,544 at Easter 2024, an increase of 72%.”

One young woman in Manhattan, Sydney Johnston, told The Post about how she initially grew up in a non -demomation Christian household. After moving away from religion for a while, Pandemia struck during her college years, she encouraged her to reconsider her life. Taylor New, a 27-year-old family from Cincinnati, said she once saw YouTuber’s video about the history of Catholicism, she would not return to her former evangelical faith.
“I decided to watch him, not thinking much – but I joke that this video had ruined my life in the best way, because it set me up on my research spiral,” New for The Post.

A 30-year-old software developer in southern California named Adrian Lawson told the post that he was initially growing up as a non-unenomination and then became an atheist as a teenager. What inspired his conversion to Catholicism was to observe the debate between Catholic and Protestant YouTuber, after which Protestant influence turned into Catholicism.
Despite the “very strong negative reaction” of his parents, Lawson began attending the Catholic Mass in 2022 and continued to turn completely a year ago.
“I had anxiety, depression and panic attacks, but since I started to pray the rosary regularly, I had none of these problems,” he said.
