Since then, Ripley and Belair have turned around pushing Sky out of the way as they talked about the garbage. Sky, although shorter than them, made it clear that he would no longer deprive the disrespect of two former champions.
Dakota Kai, a longtime friend of Sky’s and former Ctrl Stablemate, told Fox News Digital that he didn’t understand where disrespect came from.

“I also think Iyo manages to be underdog. I think on Sunday he will take out a lot of stops to show them like, ‘Hey, you overlook me these last few weeks, I’m a champion for a reason. “
Sky lost to Bayley in the Wrestlemania 40 women’s title. Bayley was thrown out of the Ctrl damage in the weeks after winning in 2024.
Kai suggested that Bayley’s victory is a driving force for Sky.
“She enters Wrestlemania again as a champion and definitely wants to obviously keep him – who wouldn’t? I don’t think, for her, she definitely has something that can be proven to come out of the match at the top, which is,” she said.
