Illinois facing a culture split over transgender athlete issue

Tully added that Ihsa is in a “unsustainable position” while the organization seeks clarity in conflicting directions from state authorities and Trump administration.

“The whole policy is sick. Either you believe in fair competition or not. The Democratic Party today, and especially JB Pritzker, does not believe in FER competition. They have awakened their ideology with the protection of girls in sports,” Wilhour said.

Wilhour also encouraged Ihs to cancel the state government’s direction and prohibit trans -athletes from a athlete from girls.
