The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office on Wednesday filed a request for postponement on Thursday for Erik and Lyle Menendez, according to reports.
District State Attorney Nathan Hochman said in submitting a request that he should be heard on Thursday and Friday, he should be waiting until the court receives copies of comprehensive risk assessments for brothers who have completed a state prison and conditional discharge officers, NBC News reported.
California Government Gavin News told Fox News in response that a comprehensive risk assessment is ongoing and will be completed on June 13, 2025. According to California legal regulations, one of its components was released into the parties included for their review 60 days before alms and corrected corrections, his office said. Newsom’s office announced that he had informed Judge Michael Jesica of the status of this report, which was not an independent risk assessment, and offered to share it with the court if he was requesting him.

“They are the two of the best liars and their notary public is what sets them apart from other prisoners in similar situations,” Linehan said. “If things didn’t go their own way, they could do it again.”
Hochman also said he disagreed with subtraction but he is ready to move forward.
Hochman said it was in court to factate whether “the lack of acceptance of responsibility for their killer actions” was enough to decide whether Menendez brothers represent an unreasonable risk of danger to the community.

He added that many others helped him get out of prison and rehabilitate in society, showing selflessness, knowing that they “have no chance” to come out while helping others.

“The fact that they did it all without getting anything in return, says a lot,” said the rapper.
Lyle said he and Erik developed peace and patience that most people would not understand.
Erik admitted that they were “spoiled brothers” and suffered from severe questions of insecurity. He added that he wanted to be an advocate of other sexually abused victims, saying that “no one should be trapped” as it is.
Both Lyle and Erik Menendez signed up in documentary films and on social media, claiming that their father had sexually abused them, offering a a different narrative of killings but the story of their lawyers told the 1990s.

They claim that they killed their parents in self -defense.
Their first trial ended in trial, when the jurors could not arrange their destiny. After the second trial in the mid-1990s, in which some of their evidence of supposedly sexual abuse They were excluded, the jurors agreed with the prosecutors that their motive was greed.

Since they were under the age of 26 at the time of the murder, according to the current California law, new penalties of 50 years of age would immediately make them acceptable to hearing a conditional discharge.
They should already appear before the Committee on June 13 as part of the comprehensive report on the risk assessment he ordered News, which considers the brothers’ request – a separate potential path from prison.
