Second Hegseth advisor placed on administrative leave amid Pentagon probe: report

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Defense (DOD) has been placed on administrative leave on Tuesday after the steps of another Pentagon Officer earlier during the day.

Selnick is under investigation for the same leak probe that saw Hegsetth Aide And Caldwell Drove from Pentagon by security. Both Selnick and Caldwell are on administrative leave.

According to Pentagon website, Senitick is a retired aircraft official who worked intensively at veteran’s organizations.

“Mr Selnick uses his extensive government and non -governmental experience, advocating veterans to position the members of the Productive Life Service after separation from the first day they put the uniform,” the biography said.

Both Selnick and Caldwell have worked for worried veterans for America in the past, a group previously led by Defense Minister Pete Hegsetth.

Reuters reported that Caldwell had been on leave because of “unauthorized detection”, as part of an investigation into the missed Pentagon documents.

The probe was announced last month and took care of “recently unauthorized posts of national security data.”

“The use of polygraphs in executing this investigation will be in accordance with applicable law and policy,” the head of the staff Dod -a Joe Kasper wrote in a letter at that time. “This investigation will begin immediately and will culminate in the defense secretary report.”

One official told the politics that the leaks related to the plans of the Panama Canal and Elon Musk, among other questions.

More information about leakage is unknown, and there is currently no evidence that Caldwell or Selnick would associate with this leak.
