Orania seeks recognition

It has its own water purification systems and solar energy. In one of the dry parts of South Africa, Orania farmers successfully develop corn, wheat, nuts, almonds and livestock.
Orania has built her own schools and the Faculty of Africa and plans to open her own university.

“I decide to live in Orania because it offers what so little places can – a safe and purposeful future for Africanes. I can live here, pray without fear and speak Africans not as a formality, but as a heart rate in everyday life. We accept as a community to build, work and grow.
